Tiny Green Beetle

Unidentified Beetle.
length: 3-5mm.


This tiny Beetle I found on the Grass in my garden, yesterday. It is absolutely gorgeous, and the green colours on its backare perfect.
I'm hoping that you can give me a hint towards its ID. I'd hate it if this beauty has to go into the books without a name.

Any comments (see bottom of this page) towards its ID are very welcome.
