Just a little bit shy? |
Here's a few shots of the new addititions to the avian community in the garden.
Here we have the 2 young Greenfinches,
Chloris chloris.
The House Sparrows,
Passer domesticus too, have been very busy with using the nesting material on offer; in fact they were the first to introduce their fledglings.
I'm looking forward to the next lots of youngsters.
I bought a new, 2nd camera on a whim at Argos in Cork. My Lumix FZ 18 has sometimes focus problems, and like most of you know, you need to be fast for avian photography! So she's now happily focussing on my other loves; Wild Flowers, Black and White macro and Invertrebates. I like the 26x optical zoom, and this Fujifilm finepix 4300 is working well. I think we like each other. It is not the new camera I was looking for (another better Lumix) but a friend will help me with upgrading the FZ18 online. Never knew that that was possible!

ReplyDeletelovely photos. :-) We have a family of sparrows nesting in our roof beside our bedroom window. I love the sound of their chirping.
