Purple Passion

These Insects took advantage of my Pincushion flowers, Scabiosa columbaria. I'm sure I will find a few little ones here next spring!

  2. Yes, I love that co;our too. a wide range of violets, blues and purple's featured in the summer this summer and I loved keeping the large pots in just one range of colour. With then one plant in white,
Uou get a much more pleasant feel from those pots in that way.
In the back and the side it was more red's, green and yellow.

I might start a separate garden blog, next spring. i'm not sure yet.

  3. The little insects on the Scabious are the flowerbug Anthocoris nemorum, predators of soft-fleshed prey such as small caterpillars.
