A friendly lot though. If you had lost your bag here, it wouldn't be long before someone would help you out. When are you moving to the Netherlands? Are you originally from there?oldcrow61https://www.blogger.com/profile/08037896874383359258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447176412927493914.post-49799578621731452302008-08-14T03:27:00.000-07:002008-08-14T03:27:00.000-07:00here, the town already makes me cringe. with only ...here, the town already makes me cringe. with only 5 or 6.000 people, it is much too big for me. and so much traffic too. and when you're almost forced to stick to roads instead of footpaths, it can be scary too.
in cork I got stuck a few times on footpaths, with no dip at the other end. Plus they were twice as high. And at a junction, cars coming from three sides, and me needing to cross. To be honest, as we live in the country, the city drives me mad at times although I do enjoy going to a few of my favorite stores. Especially the second hand book stores. My parents and daughter live in the city so it's a chance to see them as well.oldcrow61https://www.blogger.com/profile/08037896874383359258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447176412927493914.post-46758837058868225682008-08-10T05:16:00.000-07:002008-08-10T05:16:00.000-07:00Indeed, that last Moth was lovely; totally agree w...Indeed, that last Moth was lovely; totally agree with you there. Most of my pics of it came out with Moth in brown-ish background while it was much more yellow-ish. And it was almost as if it was soft material instead of a flimsy Insect!

How often do you go to the city on average?
I never go there anymore, really. It is 100km or one and a half hour, away and we can only go via Yoke,https://www.blogger.com/profile/02596190126355462132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1447176412927493914.post-2190439241283688962008-08-10T02:30:00.000-07:002008-08-10T02:30:00.000-07:00Great pictures Yoke. Don't know what it's called though. Think I'm going to have to look for books on bugs and moths when I go to the city in the fall.oldcrow61https://www.blogger.com/profile/08037896874383359258noreply@blogger.com
